Undisplaced clavicle fractures can be treated conservatively in a sling for 3-4 weeks.
Displaced clavicle fractures may require surgery. Dr Maguire uses open reduction and clavicle plate fixation for widely displaced or shortened clavicle fractures. Lateral end of clavicle fractures often require internal fixation and AC Joint stabilisation.
